CHARLOTTETOWN, PE – (October 3, 2017) – Stepscan Technologies Inc. is excited to be selected as one of six Canadian companies to be a part of Canadian Technology Accelerator’s Health IT (CTA HIT) Fall Cohort 2017. CTA helps to connect Canadian technology companies to U.S. markets, providing opportunities for investment and partnerships. Their six-month HIT program focuses on Philadelphia as a hub for the healthcare service market.
“The company has participated in a few programs, like 48 Hours in the HUB”, Stepscan President and CEO, Crystal Trevors, explains. “Hopefully working with CTA will help to increase our presence in the US market”. Trevors will travel to Philadelphia mid-October to launch the six-month intensive CTA Bootcamp, with monthly trips anticipated between then and March 2018.Other companies involved specialize in patient-centered solutions, with products ranging from wearable sensors and devices, data analytics, patient experience, protection and security, workflow solutions, personalized healthcare, research, and population health.
